Star Wars: Eclipse:
Star Wars Eclipse, a thrilling action-adventure game, was initially revealed at the Game Awards 2021. This exciting project is being developed by Quantic Dream, known for their work on Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. Eclipse is described as a game with a branching narrative, offering players different paths and outcomes. The story is set in the High Republic Era, in an unexplored area located in the Outer Rim.
In this captivating game, you will encounter fresh characters and explore new environments. The story unfolds through the perspectives of a diverse group of playable characters, each possessing their own distinct personalities and motivations. Their actions and interactions with each other will influence the overall adventure. Although Eclipse was announced to be in the early stages of development, it may take some time before it is released. Respawn's Star Wars FPS:
If you thought having a first-person shooter (FPS) and another installment in the Star Wars Jedi series was exciting enough, Respawn Entertainment has more surprises in store for you. They recently announced the development of a Star Wars strategy game. This untitled strategy game is being created through a "production collaboration" between Respawn and a newly established studio called Bit Reactor. While Respawn will oversee the project as the producer, Bit Reactor will take the lead in its development.
Bit Reactor is headed by Greg Foertsch, a seasoned game developer who has previously worked on renowned titles like Sid Meier's Civilization series at Firaxis, among others. Despite the anticipation surrounding this project, very little information has been disclosed so far. As a result, the release date is expected to be quite some time away.
